Dr. Stuart Wills has been a pneumologist since 1985. He did his medical training and specialization in pulmonary medicine entirely in the Netherlands. Medicine at Leiden University, pneumonology specialization at St. Antonius Hospital in Utrecht. Afterwards, he worked for more than 25 years at the Martini Hospital in Groningen practicing pulmonary medicine in all its facets. In addition, he was responsible for ventilation in the Intensive Care in the Martini Hospital for many years. Due to personal and family circumstances, he left the Netherlands and worked in the Caribbean for 5 years. University Hospital UZA came into the picture at the end of 2017. In the capacity of senior consultant and staff member, he was responsible for daily care in the pulmonary department and primarily responsible for non-invasive ventilation. He is currently still working part-time as an outpatient consultant at AZ Voorkempen in Malle as a sleep medicine consultant. He is very pleased to be able to give shape to the consultancy of pulmonary medicine since March 2024. For general pneumonology, he has good contacts with the Uza if hospitalization or further diagnostics are needed.
